The Overcoat is the classic cold-weather utility jacket, built with sturdy, burly materials to keep up with even the most active dog diving through brush and brambles. The wind- and water-resistant outer fabric sheds light moisture, while the interior recycled polyester fleece lining adds cozy warmth. Side-release buckles on both sides provide easy on/off, and a leash portal allows the Overcoat to be worn over all Ruffwear harnesses (and most other harnesses).

    Fits my Great Danes!

    Finally! An XL coat that actually fits XL dogs! I've ordered coats for my two Danes (Vinny, 2 years, 170 lbs, and Mona, 10 months, 125 lbs and growing), with little luck. This rainy spring, I was hoping to find lightweight coats to keep them dry and cozy, but lighter than their heavy winter coats. What great coats these ones are! And fantastic price. My dogs spend the day ripping around the horse stables where I work - lots of rough-housing and outdoor play. These coats stand up to the pressure, and are nice and form fitting to avoid snagging and drafty weather. I'll be buying more RuffWear styles for sure!

    Great jacket

    Needed a vest/jacket that wasn’t too heavy or insulated. The overcoat jacket was exactly what Haylee needed. The material is strong and durable so there’s no worries about it ripping while we’re on the wood trails and the fleece lining is the perfect amount of warmth. Going to have to order another one for her brother.

    Excellent product!

    We love this jacket! It's thin but tough with a soft and warm fleece lining that's perfect for the majority of Texas "winter" weather. Easy to put on and adjust for a perfect fit, we can still easily reach under the back flap to use his harness handle for difficult crossings or tight trails with passersby. Plus, he looks gooooood 😎
